The Art Muses is an affordable, standards-based art enrichment program for educators, with or without formal art training, who want to enhance and expand art education in a classroom setting.It is an outstandingresource for introducingchildren to various well-known artists, their style, and time period in art history. Lesson activities may be integrated to enhance other content areas, such as history, math and social studies. Participating children learn to observe, create, and make meaningful connections with the arts.

Each unit is composed of six artist-inspired activities, presented in a step-by-step format. Units include an implementation manual, biography of the featured artist, related key vocabulary list (with glossary), up-to-date resource guide, recommended supplemental materials information and more. 

Bringing The Art Muses to your school is easy at anytime of the year! We give you all the tools and on-site support you will need to ensure the implementation and continued success of The Art Muses program on your campus. We offer on-site, group orientation workshops for instructor/docent training and tips for organizing a parent-volunteer based art appreciation team.
